The ‘9 Temperaments’ is a collection solo improvisations on a Neupert harpsichord based on a motive of the English Renaissance composer John Dowland, played on February 2nd 2009 on request of Robert Nasveld, programmer of the Dutch Radio NPS.

It was done in relation to a program with the title ‘Night of the Melancholy’.
